More About Me

I grew up on Long Island, where my passion for capturing life's beautiful moments first took root. At 19, I began working as an office assistant at an engineering firm, a role that allowed me to pursue my associate's degree in photography. As I climbed the corporate ladder, the increasing responsibilities became overwhelming, and I struggled with addiction, ultimately stepping away to focus on my recovery. Seeking a fresh start, I moved to California and spent time in a women's sober living facility, determined to build a new life. Yearning for cooler climates and new opportunities, I relocated to the Pacific Northwest, where I returned to school and proudly earned my bachelor's degree in journalism at 39. Throughout these experiences, my love for photography has been a constant, guiding light. I've dedicated years to capturing life's precious moments, and I am excited to share this passion with you through my work.

“For what it’s worth... it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you’ve never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.”

- F. Scott Fitzgerald
